The addicted adolescents were on the Internet for 11.1 hours per week, whereas those who were not Internet addicts used the internet for 3.1 hours, and more emotional and social problems were observed among the addicted group (Bruno et al, 2014;Cao & Su, 2007). In his study conducted with the Internet users, Mitchell (2000) reported that 2.5% of the Internet users displayed symptoms of addiction such as loss of control, intolerance, and withdrawal and that most of these users played games on the Internet.…”
