Abstract: BACKGROUND High risk Human Papilloma Virus (HR-HPV) has now emerged as one of the major etiological factors in oral and oropharyngeal cancer. Knowing HPV status is crucial as it has a significant impact on therapeutic front as well as on prognosis.
