“…This definition has greater sensitivity, as well as good reliability and construct validity 12 . For those who reported having suffered physical violence, the following context characteristics were assessed: 1. who perpetrated the physical violence, i.e., intimate partner, parents, relatives, acquaintances, strangers, health professionals or others, 2. where the physical violence took place, i.e., in the domestic environment, at an institution, in the streets, or somewhere else, and, 3. whether it was reported, and if so, to whom.…”
