Abstract:Background: Diabetic nephropathy is a significant complication of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, often leading to chronic kidney disease (CKD) and potentially progressing to End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Approximately 90% of individuals with diabetes and hypertension may develop ESRD in the later stages of the disease.
