Abstract:Background:
Cerebral microbleeds (CMBs) are markers of underlying hemorrhage-prone cerebral small vessel disease detected on MRI. They are associated with heightened risk of stroke and cognitive decline. The prevalence of CMBs among Egyptian patients with ischemic stroke is not well studied.
