Prevalence and Patterns of Sexual Activity during Pregnancy in Kano, Northern Nigeria

Abstract: Very little has been documented on sexual activity during pregnancy in northern Nigeria. We examined prevalence and factors associated with vaginal intercourse during pregnancy in Kano, Nigeria. A cross section of 336 pregnant women attending antenatal care at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital was interviewed using pre-tested structured questionnaire.
