Abstract: Staphylococcus aureus causes diseases ranging from fairly minor skin and soft-tissue infections to dangerous sepsis [1,2]. All penicillins are ineffective against MRSA, including cephalosporins, carbapenems, semi-synthetic penicillinase-resistant congeners, and penems.
