Prevalence and factors associated with metabolic syndrome in vulnerable population in northern Brazil: a cross-sectional study

Abstract: Introduction: metabolic syndrome (SM) is a set of metabolic imbalances that are associated with the development of cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes mellitus, in addition to other chronic non-communicable diseases.
