Abstract:Aim: This study was carried out to determine the presence of TEM and SHV genes in extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL) producing Klebsiella pneumoniae. The study was also aimed to compare results of phenotypic confirmatory double disc diffusion test and genotypic methods.
