Prevalence and characteristics of mental and physical disorders among female prisoners: a mixed-methods systematic review

Abstract: Purpose This study aims to provide an overview and quality appraisal of the current scientific evidence concerning the prevalence and characteristics of mental and physical disorders among sentenced female prisoners.
