Preterm nutrition and brain development

Abstract: Premature birth puts infants at risk for long-term outcomes, particularly neurodevelopmental impairment. The preterm brain is in a period of extreme vulnerability and fundamental development during hospitalisation in the neonatal intensive care unit.
