Pressure Effects on Zero‐Field Resonance. I. Ge3+ in YVO4 and SeVO4

Abstract: The influence of hydrostatic pressure on the zero-field resonance frequencies of Gd3+ in some isostructural crystals has been measured directly. A short description of the apparatus is given and first results in the range up t o 2 kbar are reported.Mit Hilfe der Nullfeldresonanzmethode wurde der EinfluS von hydrostatischem Druck auf die Kristallfeldaufspaltung von Gd3+ in verschiedenen Kristallen gleichen Strukturtyps direkt gemessen.
