Preservation of rutin nanosuspensions without the use of preservatives

Abstract: Nanocrystals are used as universal approach to improve the bioactivity of poorly soluble active ingredients. They are produced by various techniques, typically yielding aqueous nanosuspensions, which are prone to microbial contamination.
