Presepsin teardown - pitfalls of biomarkers in the diagnosis and prognosis of bacterial infection in cirrhosis

Abstract: AIMTo evaluate the diagnostic and prognostic value of presepsin in cirrhosis-associated bacterial infections.METHODSTwo hundred and sixteen patients with cirrhosis were enrolled.
