“…Rare examples of Re(IV) compounds with potent cytotoxic activity in vitro were reported by De Munno et al [384]. All of the complexes had the general formula ReCl 4 L, where L was 2,2'bipyridine; 2,2'-bipyrimidine; 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine; or 1,10-phenanthroline, and they all exhibited potent in vitro antiproliferative activities against a number of cancer cell lines.…”
