“…It is worth reminding that the Pantanal is one of the most famous places in Brazil for sporting fishing due its high fish abundance and to the appeal of the media in general, mainly through magazines and radio and TV programs addressed to the public, delivering an image of a fishing paradise. In the State of Saxony-Anhalt (Germany), this figure is only 0.71 kg/day (Wedekind et al, 2001).
