“…In the Former Yugoslav Republic (FYR) of Macedonia, the screening on Chlamydia trachomatis in group of women and men selected from the general population found this infection in 1.6% (95% confidence interval 0.8-2.4%) among persons without genitourinary infection symptoms and in 6.2% (3.1-9.3%) of symptomatic subgroup (13).
