Abstract:Background: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are very common “over-the-counter” commonly abused drugs used in treating fever, pain and inflammatory conditions. They inhibit prostaglandins and can cause kidney disease and hypertension, particularly in stressed states like dehydration and exercises.
