Preschool Oppositional Defiant Disorder: A Disorder of Negative Affect, Surgency, and Disagreeableness

Abstract: Objective. Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) is conceptualized as a disorder of negative affect and low effortful control. Yet, empirical tests of trait associations with ODD remain limited.
