“…Another study was implemented to investigate the performance of conventional as well as new argan oil enriched liposomes containing ALL as dermal drug delivery systems 15 . Recently, ALL was incorporated into CS membranes to evaluate its wound healing and tissue regeneration properties 16 . Consequently, different drug delivery systems (DDSs) are still required to be constructed and evaluated to potentiate and exploit the multilateral pharmacological bioactivities of ALL.…”

“…Raman spectroscopy was performed to identify the structural characteristics of chitosan in CF and CP dressings compared to those of unmodified raw chitosan fiber. As shown in Figure 1, raw chitosan fiber generated vibrational lines at 1540 cm −1 , 1667 cm −1 , 1805 cm −1 , and 2434 cm −1 , which corresponded to C–N–H, C=O, and O–H carboxylic bending vibrations, respectively, and these were the main indications of the presence of chitosan [18,19,20]. Both CF and CP dressings display these vibrational characteristics but at lower intensity.…”

“…FTIR Spectra Figure 1 showed the FTIR spectra of chitosan and chitosan derivatives. For chitosan, the characteristic peaks appeared at 3421 cm −1 (angular deformation of O-H and N-H), 2919 and 2881 cm −1 (-CH stretching), 1654 cm −1 (C=O stretching of amide band I), as well as 1596 cm −1 (amide band II) [29,30]. As for CTCS, the spectrum showed the introduction of the quaternary ammonium salt group and chloride acetyl group.…”
