L-Phenylalanine (L-Phe) imprinted polymers (L-MIPs) were prepared via precipitation polymerization using 1-vinyl-3-carboxymethylimidazolium chloride ([VCIM]Cl) as functional monomer, which could interact with L-Phe through electrostatic interactions, hydrogen-bonding, and π-π interactions.
