“…In SEM images of the Co 3 O 4 /MWCNT/PPSF/GCE, it was seen that the Co 3 O 4 nanoparticles as the nanocubes shapes of small sizes (mean diameter of 189 nm) and irregular growth on the MWCNT/PPSF/GCE can be observed in the magnified images in Figure 1C and D. The carboxyl functional groups present on MWCNTs facilitate ionic bonding of metal ions or covalent coupling with various metal oxides [33,34]. The EDX elemental analyze was confirmed the presence of Co,C, Oand N atoms in the Co 3 O 4 /MWCNT/PPSF composite structure.vThe voltammetric behaviour of the GCE, PPSF/GCE, MWCNT/PPSF/GCE and Co 3 O 4 /MWCNT/PPSF/GCE was determined using CV in a 0.1 mol L −1 KCl and 5.0 mmol L −1 K 3 [Fe(CN) 6 ]/K 4 [Fe(CN) 6 ] solution at a scan rate of 0.05 Vs −1 .…”

“…Increasing the temperature onward from this point up to 800 °C shows a negligible weight loss for NiO, indicating its thermal stability. For nanocomposite samples, a distinct weight loss is observed from 450 to 575 °C due to the oxidation-induced breakdown of functional moieties on the surfaces of MWCNTs . This region is used to calculate the MWCNT contents in the nanocomposite samples and is found to be ∼8.20 wt %.…”

“…The rational design of membrane materials for Li + /Mg 2+ separation requires understanding the electric double layer (EDL), electrolyte solution flow, and ionic species' intrinsic properties. Nada et al 36 perform molecular dynamics (MD) simulation to study the nanofiltration process of water and heavy metal ions in nanotubes. Under an external electric field, carbon nanotubes and boron nitride nanotubes showed high retention of several heavy metal ions.…”
