“…Hong et al developed a novel GO‐modified affinity capillary monoliths by employing human serum albumin (HSA) or pepsin as chiral selector. Amino acid enantiomers were chosen as the model analytes and the resolution (Rs) and separation factor ( α ≈1.2) are used to evaluate the chiral separation capability . Meng et al fabricated graphene‐based chiral membranes and the enantioseparation performance toward 3, 4‐Dihydroxy‐ D or l ‐phenylalanine were studied.…”

“…By nonlinear regression of the Michaelis-Menten diagrams, the Km was determined to be 2.70 ± 0.29 mmol/L, which indicated that the immobilized lipase possessed a higher affinity for p-NPA compared with the free one (4.65 ± 1.23 mmol/L). That may be attributed to the fact that the long spacer arm molecule is introduced in the reaction process, which can reduce the steric hindrance between the enzyme molecules, thereby increasing the mutual contact between the enzyme molecule and the substrate, which is beneficial to the activity of the enzyme molecule [31].…”

“…In nature, chiral recognition principles are fundamentally relevant to enzymes, plasma proteins, receptors and so on. Several studies reports on the preparation of protein‐based polymer monoliths for chromatographic enantioseparation using different monomers, porogen, and polymerization protocols . In one of these reports, poly(GMA‐ co ‐EDMA) monoliths have been used extensively for post modification approaches due to the presence of reactive epoxy groups susceptible to reaction with various nucleophiles (Table ).…”
