“…Figure demonstrates that the initial weight loss temperature of PVB was 338.40 °C, indicating its relatively high thermal stability, which meets the requirements for water treatment. And from the figure, it can be seen that the weight loss curve of PVB consisted of three weight loss stages . The first stage spanned from 338.40 to 395.44 °C, during which PVB experienced a mass loss of 73.87%.…”

The second stage occurred between 412.56 and 473.39 °C, with a mass loss of 12.00% for PVB.…”

“…11 At present, a variety of adsorbents have been developed for the removal of heavy metal ions in wastewater, 12 including graphene-based adsorbent, 13 MOF-based adsorbent, 14 clay-based adsorbent, 15 and cellulose-based adsorbent. 16 However, the small adsorption capacity, low adsorption efficiency, 17 and high cost 18 of most adsorbents limit their application range. 19 Therefore, the development of adsorption materials with low price, simple preparation process, high efficiency, and largescale production is the key to the promotion and application of adsorption methods in the treatment of heavy metal ions wastewater.…”

“…Hyperbranched polyamidoamines (HPAMAMs) have attracted increasing attention in the construction of biocompatible hydrogels owing to their featured water solubility, nontoxicity, and versatility. Attributed to their unique three-dimensional spatial molecular conformation, HPAMAMs are frequently utilized as large crosslinking centers in hydrogel networks to modulate the mechanical properties of hydrogels. Herein, a vinyl-capped HPAMAM (EHP-vinyl) with electroactive viologen groups was synthesized using a one-pot Michael addition polymerization method coupled with a terminal modification approach. The obtained EHP-vinyl participates in the free radical polymerization of acrylamide as large crosslinking centers, yielding covalently crosslinked conductive hydrogels (EHP/PAM).…”
