“…These new technologies include solar cells, high-performance capacitors, field-effective transistors (FET), organic electroluminescence devices (O-EL), and electrochromic devices (EC), which represent a new approach of "plastic electronics" [1][2][3][4][5]. After the halogen doping effect was demonstrated for conducting polymers, iodine has been widely employed in both vapor phase and OPEN ACCESS solution doping because iodine doping can prevent the occurrence of electrophilic addition to the -conjugated system without disruption of -conjugation of the main chain.…”

“…The acid of (NH 4 ) 2 S 2 O 8 was slowly and carefully added into the flask containing aniline acid solution under constant stirring within one hour the reaction was kept at -5 • C. Its color changed from brown to blue and then green, a solid deposit was formed at the bottom of the reaction flask. The green sediment was filtered, rinsed with 1 mol/l HCl and dried at room temperature for 72 h, the polymer obtained is called emeraldine [3]. Polyethylene of 95% weight percent was mixed with 5 weight percent polyaniline (emeraldine) as the polymer matrix (P-Ani).…”

“…The semicircle at high frequency region is assigned to the process at polymer/electrolyte and the one at low frequency region corresponds to the response at metal/polymer interface [35]. The polarization resistance (R p ) of polymer-coated electrode, reflecting the corrosion-resistant ability of those coatings, is considered to be equal to the sum of R pore and R ct values [1,36]. The EIS parameters that we are interested in are listed in Table 2.…”

“…Conducting polymers (CPs) have attracted considerable attention due to their technological applications in various fields such as battery materials [1,2], chemical capacitors [3], gas sensors [4] and corrosion protection [5,6]. Of various conducting polymers, polyaniline (PAni) [7,8] and polypyrrole (PPy) [9,10] were most widely studied for corrosion inhibition due to their environmentfriendly nature and ease of synthesis.…”
