Preparation of Coatings Based on Ph- And Thermosensitive Polymeric Microgels for Engineering of Glucose Oxidase Biosensor Systems

Abstract

Polymer-enzyme coatings based on pH-and thermosensitive microgel P(NIPAM-co-DMAPMA) and glucose oxidase were fabricated via two different ways: (a) a sequential deposition (adsorption) of polymer and bio- components and (b) a deposition of a pre-formed microgel-enzyme complex. It was shown that the way (a) allows obtaining sensor surfaces with higher responses while the method (b) leads to ones with better operational stability.
