“…The FT-IR spectrum of the CJDC had a peak at 3376 cm -1 that was assigned to O-H stretching vibration of the adsorbed water molecules on the surface of the material (Boni et al, 2016;Lv, Xia, Tang, & Pu, 2017). The peaks at 2926 and 2854 cm -1 corresponded to C-H vibrations, specifically aliphatic CH 2 and CH 3 (Likon, Remškar, Ducman, & Švegl, 2013;Boni et al, 2016;Lv et al, 2017), while the peaks at 1630 and 1734 cm -1 were characteristic of the presence of conjugated and unconjugated carbonyl groups (C = O), respectively. These peaks likely originated from carboxylic acids and ketones from hemicellulose and lignin (Adebajo & Frost, 2004;Barka, Ouzaouit, Abdennouri, & Makhfouk, 2013;Zhang, Yang, Wu, Yuan, & Sun, 2014).…”
