Preparation of a magnetic multiwalled carbon nanotube@polydopamine/zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 composite for magnetic solid-phase extraction of triazole fungicides from environmental water samples

Abstract: A novel magnetic zinc-based zeolitic imidazolate framework (MMP/ZIF-8) has been prepared using a magnetic multiwalled carbon nanotube@polydopamine nanocomposite as the magnetic core and support. It was then used as an adsorbent for magnetic solid-phase extraction of triazole fungicides from environmental water samples. Successful synthesis of MMP/ZIF-8 was confirmed by material characterization, and the results showed that the synthetic composite has a high Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface area (141.56 m 2 g À1 … Show more

“…3D . The coexistence of different pores ranging from meso- to macropores can be attributed to N 2 adsorption slowly increasing at low relative pressures ( P / P 0 < 0.8) and sharply increasing at high relative pressures (0.8 < P / P 0 < 1.0) 22 . The pore volume and BET surface area of MG/PDA are 0.595 mL g −1 and 137.77 m 2 g −1 , respectively.…”

“…The adsorption band at 584 cm −1 in all the spectra can be attributed to the Fe–O vibration, suggesting that the MG/PDA nanocomposites were well contained Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles 20 . In MG/PDA spectrum, the adsorption band at 1582, 1489, and 1281 cm −1 corresponding to the stretching vibrations of C=C, N–H, and C–O of PDA, respectively 21 .

“…The FT-IR spectra of MM/ZIF-8/IL and other synthetic magnetic materials are shown in Figure 1B. The spectrum of MM/ZIF-8/IL showed an adsorption band at 521 cm −1 , which corresponded to the Fe–O–Fe vibration from magnetite, and a band at 1337 cm −1 was attributed to the in-plane bending of CH 2 in the MWCNTs [34]. The bands between 992 and 1309 cm −1 and at 1420 cm −1 corresponded to the Zn–N vibration of ZIF-8 [18].…”

“…Currently, the food safety detection technology includes instrument confirmation technology and rapid detection technology. The instrument validation techniques include gas chromatography [17], liquid chromatography [18], capillary electrophoresis [19], supercritical fluid chromatography [20], gas chromatography-mass spectrometry [21,22], and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry [23,24,25]. However, the instrumentation method demonstrates drawbacks of a complex sample pretreatment process, high costs, complex operation, long detection time, and large-scale expensive equipment.…”
