Preparation, Characterization and Separation Performances of Novel Dual Modified PU Membranes with Carbon Fiber Filling

Abstract: Novel dual modified PU membranes were prepared by β-cyclodextrin (CD) crosslinking and carbon fiber (CF) filling. The structures, thermal stabilities, morphologies and surface properties were characterized by FTIR, TGA, SEM, XRD and contact angle. PV performances were investigated for the mixture of phenol and water. The dual modified membranes showed not only higher permeability, but also better selectivity than PU membranes.
