Preparation, characterization and photocatalytic performance of hetero-structured CuO-ZnO loaded composite nanofiber membranes

Abstract: Owing to the nano-effect of nanofibers and special properties of semiconductor oxides, inorganic semiconductor oxides loaded composite nanofibers (CNFs) have been widely applied in environmental monitoring, industry, aviation, transportation and other fields. In this paper, the hetero-structured CuO-ZnO loaded CNF membranes (CNFMs) were prepared successfully by a combination of electrospinning technology, heat treatment and hydrothermal method. The effects of electrospinning, heat treatment and hydrothermal pa… Show more

“…In the literature [12], ZnO/EP composites were prepared by sol-gel method using ZnO powder and epoxy resin E-51 as raw materials. In the literature [13], PAN/ZnO composite nanofiber filter membranes were prepared by doping ZnO nanoparticles into PAN solution, and their microstructure, air permeability, moisture permeability, UV protection, and filtration properties were tested.…”
