“…In addition to the type of polymeric matrix being used, the tribological performance of engineering plastics is greatly affected by the filler type, dispersion rate, and matrix-filler compatibility. 8 Various micro-scale lubrication fillers such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), 9 aramid fibers, 10 graphite, 11 and Si 3 N 4, 12 have been used to reduce the friction coefficient and wear rate of PI composites.
