“…The fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectra of PEG, ASB and CPCM3 are displayed in Figure 5 . In the biochar spectrum, two characteristic absorption peaks at 1647 cm −1 and 3446 cm −1 were observed due to the stretching vibrations of the C=C and –OH groups, respectively [ 31 , 39 , 40 ]. For PEG, stretching vibrations of the –CH 2 functional groups were observed at 962 cm −1 and 2889 cm −1 [ 38 ].…”

“…High nutrient demand on soil for good tuber quality requires high organic matter and nitrogen input ( Nesbitt and Adl, 2014 ). Sustainable agricultural practices such as balanced fertilizer regimes improved not only tuber yield but also marketing quality of potato (e.g., tuber size; Tan et al, 2016 ). Vine desiccation (diquat, comm.…”

“…For the PEG/diatomic FSPCM composites, the mass of the PEG1000 PCM did not exceed 50 wt% . In addition, the trapped air tends to expand during heating, leading to the leakage of a liquid PEG PCM from the porous matrix . The framework of [Ca(PEG) x ]Cl 2 complex sealed by the alcohol and PEG liquid cannot interact with air before and after the synthesis, indicating that its microstructure does not contain air molecules.…”
