“…A series of modification methods have been applied to improve the properties of waterborne polyurethanes. , Silicone is an excellent raw material used to modify polyurethane materials due to its outstanding characteristics, such as water repellency, low surface energy, anti-abrasion, and antioxidation. As an example of organosilicon modification, Ge and Luo et al used polysiloxane (PDMS), toluene diisocyanate (TDI), and aminoethylaminopropyl polydimethylsiloxane (AEAPS) as raw materials to synthesize available hydrophobic water-based polyurethane for textile coatings . However, the mechanical properties of waterborne polyurethane cannot be improved by only modification with organosiloxane. Different compounds can be added to work with organosiloxane to solve the abovementioned problem.…”
