Preparation and Ferroelectric Properties of M II Bi 3 Ti 2 NbO 12 (M II : Sr, Pb) Layered Perovskite-Like Oxides.-Ceramic oxides SrBi 3 Ti 2 NbO 12 and PbBi 3 Ti 2 NbO 12 with layered perovskite type structure are synthesized by solid state reactions of Bi 2 O 3 , TiO 2 , Nb 2 O 5 , and SrCO 3 or PbO, resp., and subsequent hot-pressing. The ceramics possess an optimal microstructure and low conductivity. They appear to be ferroelectrics having phase transition at Tc = 441 and 570 K, respectively. -(TRIFONOV, I. A.; GEGUZINA, G.
