Abstract:Tb 3+ and Yb 3+ co-doped Sr 2 B 2 O 5 phosphors were synthesized by conventional solid-state reactions. The obtained Sr 2 B 2 O 5 : Tb 3+ , Yb 3+ phosphors were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and photoluminescence (PL) spectra. XRD results show that all prepared phosphors can be readily indexed to pure monoclinic phase of Sr 2 B 2 O 5.
