“…Also, the temperature profile of the first cycle of our neat sample is slightly lower than that of the rest of the cycles. A similar result has been reported by Li et al as well and it is considered as a normal phenomenon. Moreover, as can be seen in the decay profile, the temperature of the hand warmers through different cycles remains almost the same for about 30 min as that of the onset.…”

“…For samples impregnated with the same salt solution, the lower the concentration of the salt solution, the smaller the value of α after impregnation, indicating that the material is relatively hydrophilic. The sample with the largest LiCl content has the highest water vapor adsorption capacity and the largest saturated adsorption capacity at low water pressure, while the addition of LaCl 3 has no obvious improvement compared with the impregnation of MgCl 2 …”

“…Wang et al [ 21 ] obtained a PCM with a phase transition temperature of 20~25 °C, which was achieved by adding 0.5% hydroxyethyl cellulose, 5% SrCl 2 ·6H 2 O, and 35% MgCl 2 ·6H 2 O into a solution of CaCl 2 ·6H 2 O. The change in the phase transition temperature of CaCl 2 ·6H 2 O was due to the formation of eutectic salts after adding MgCl 2 ·6H 2 O. Li et al [ 22 ] added urea to a mixed solution of CH 3 COONa·3H 2 O and potassium chloride. According to the characteristic that urea could form a eutectic salt with CH 3 COONa·3H 2 O, a PCM with a phase transition temperature suitable for the heat pump system was obtained.…”
