A Facile One-Pot Synthesis of MSe (M = Cd or Zn) Nanoparticles Using Biopolymer as Passivating Agent

Though this technique is simple and its flexibility allows the use of different passivating agents such as starch, PVA, polyvinyl pyrolindone (PVP) (Yang and Xiang, 2005) and tartaric acid (Behboudnia and Azizianekalandaragh, 2007), the preparation of sodium selenosulphate used as the selenide source requires a longer reaction time and must be stored in the dark at 60 o C due to its instability at room temperature.…”
