Abstract:The presented paper is focused on studying electrically conductive composites based on an elastomeric matrix and expanded graphite as the filler. A potential application as an environmental remote detector was studied. The influence of filler particle size, film thickness, detector length, temperature, and the amount of oil on the detector response rate were explored.
