Preparation and characterization of hexamethylenediamine-modified graphene oxide/Co-polyamide nanocomposites

Abstract: The hexamethylenediamine-modified graphite oxide/Co-polyamide (GO-HMD/CO-PA) nanocomposites were successfully produced by solution blending method. X-ray diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and atomic force microscopy analyses revealed that GO with a large number of oxygen-containing functional groups was successfully obtained by a modified Hummer’s method. For GO-HMD, the amino and amide bonds were introduced into the GO sheets, making the sheets more i… Show more

“…Radiation attenuation was calculated using formula (11). 45 N ¼ N o exp ðÀµxÞ (11) ðN o Þ indicates the number of particles of radiation passing without any sample, (N) is the number of radiation particles passing through the thickness (x) of the absorber to be counted during a specified period, and (μ) the irradiation attenuation coefficient of the source. 45 The shape of lateral scattering reduces the absorption according to Lambert's law.…”

“…Comparing to the modify agent of -HS (Yang et al, 2018), hydrazine (Burshtein et al, 2022), NaBH 4 (Shen et al, 2021), hydroquinone (Sabry et al, 2022), concentrated H 2 SO 4 (Kong et al, 2018), alumina powder (Wu et al, 2021), etc. Diamine has better dispersibility and gas sensitivity (Wang et al, 2020), and be expected to increase GO surface active sites, reduce polymer lattice defects and nanopores.…”
