“…For the preparation of the non-filler CPEs, a fixed ratio of PVA and K 2 CO 3 (70:30) was added into 20 mL of deionized water in a glass beaker. The two solutions were mixed and heated at 80 °C with continuous vigorous stirring using thermostat until the two solutions were completely dissolved to form a composite of PVA-K 2 CO 3 as reported in our previous study [ 23 ]. For the preparation of CPEs containing filler, an appropriate amount of SiO 2 was added to the prepared PVA-K 2 CO 3 composites, heated at 80 °C continuously with vigorous stirring until homogeneous, clear, and viscous solution were obtained.…”
