Preoperative hemostasis assessment in adenotonsillar surgery: is it really necessary?

Abstract: <p class="abstract"><strong>Background: </strong>Adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy and adenotonsillectomy are among the most frequently performed procedures in otorhinolaryngology. Postoperative hemorrhage is, undoubtedly, the most feared complication of this kind of surgery.
