Preoperative fractional exhaled nitric oxide can predict postoperative cough-related quality of life and its recovery for early-stage non-small cell lung cancer patients: a longitudinal study

Abstract: Background Cough is a common respiratory symptom that affects quality of life (QOL) after video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS). Our aim is to determine whether preoperative fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FENO) levels are able to predict the risk of postoperative cough and its changes and recovery using the Leicester Cough Questionnaire in Mandarin-Chinese (LCQ-MC).
