“…Se ha descrito, aplicando técnicas inmunocitoquímicas, la presencia de somas con taquiquininas (neuroquinina A/B, sustancia P) (Nomura et al, 1982;del Fiacco et al, 1983del Fiacco et al, , 1984Bouras et al, 1986;Chigr et al, 1991;Coveñas et al, 2003a), metionina-encefalina-Arg 6 -Gly 7 -Leu 8 De la amplia distribución que presenta las fibras marcadas con -neo-endorfina, se destaca la alta o moderada densidad observadas en la sustancia gris periacueductal, en el núcleo espinal del trigémino, el núcleo motor dorsal del vago y en el tracto espinal del trigémino. Además, en los dos primeros núcleos del tronco del encéfalo del hombre se ha descrito la presencia de sustancia P (Nomura et al, 1987;Rikard-Bell et al, 1990;Wang et al 1993). Hecho que indica la posible coexistencia entre estos dos neuropéptidos, así como su posible relación funcional.…”
