Prenatal exposure to exogenous progesterone adversely affects fetal development in Albino rats

Abstract: Background The current study was carried out to investigate the effects of exogenous progesterone on fetal development in rats. Results Placental weights did not vary in control and treated groups. Fetal weights were significantly reduced in the low- and high-dose progesterone groups.
