Preliminary Study on the Predictive Value of Serum Tumor Markers for Liver Metastasis of Lung Cancer

Abstract

Background and Objective: Lung cancer is the malignant tumor with the highest morbidity and mortality in China, and liver metastasis is the last stage of lung cancer. Methods: The clinical data of 60 patients with lung cancer (30 cases with liver metastasis and 30 cases without metastasis) treated in Hebei Provincial People's Hospital from December 2020 to May 2021 were collected. The levels of 9 serum tumor markers in the two groups were detected, analyzed statistically and the ROC curve was drawn. Results: The levels of CYFRA21-1, ALP, LDH and CK-MB/CK in liver metastasis group were significantly higher than those in non-metastasis group (P<0.05). CYFRA21-1 and CK-MB/CK had the highest sensitivity of 80%. ALP had the highest specificity of 97%. The AUC of CK-MB/CK is the largest, which is 0.861. Conclusion: The high expression levels of CYFRA21-1, ALP, LDH and CK-MB/CK may be related to liver metastasis in patients with lung cancer.
