Abstract:This study investigates the feasibility and performance of a missile propelled by a Hybrid Rocket-Based Combined Cycle (HRBCC) engine, which combines hybrid rocket and air-breathing engines. The HRBCC engine could enable intra and extra-atmospheric hypersonic flight in the future.
