PRELIMINARY PHYTOCHEMICAL SCREENING OF Albizia lebbeck STEM BARK

Abstract: Preliminary screening of phytochemicals is a valuable step in the detection of the bioactive chemicals in plants which may lead to drug discovery and could also be used for the treatment of various ailments. The aim of this experiment was to examine a preliminary phytochemical screening of Albizia lebbeck stem bark. The solvent used for the analysis includes: methanol, petroleum ether and water.
