Preliminary group classification of the boundary layer equations of a thermodependent fluid

Abstract: In this work, we perform preliminary group classification of boundary layer equations of a thermodependent fluid around any profile. These equations involve three parameters: the shear stress, the thermal conductivity, and the pressure gradient. Using optimal system of subalgebras method, we establish the existence of constitutive laws that give rise to self‐similar solutions compatible with the boundary conditions.
