Abstract: Introduction: Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (FCS) is a rare autosomal recessive disease where functional loss of lipoprotein lipase results in severe hypertriglyceridemia. Patients often experience recurrent acute pancreatitis, a life-threatening disease.
