A whole system approach requires both internal (novice to expert education and training opportunities, mentorship, career coaching, staff well‐being, leadership, age‐appropriate care environments) and external strategies (such as affordable housing, transport, child care; Brook et al, 2019; Buchan et al, 2020; Drennan et al, 2016; Hebditch et al, 2022; Neville et al, 2014).
